Wanneroo Business Association celebrates 25 years of service!

This August 2024, Wanneroo Business Association proudly celebrates a significant milestone: 25 years of service to the local business community.

We recently had the opportunity to speak with two key founding members of the association, Bob Fawcett and Rod Greene. They shared insights into the association’s formation, the challenges encountered in its early years, the prevailing business landscape of 1999, and so much more.

Their conversation also revealed some great anecdotes including brave stories of advocacy, the many benefits of networking (things haven’t changed!), fact-gathering business trips to China, auctions that raised thousands, and even degustation menus at Bridgeleigh! These stories paint a vivid picture of our association’s rich history, and we can’t wait to share them with you!

As we look ahead to our birthday month, we anticipate a time of reflection, celebration, and reconnection with our roots. We’re excited to share more about our journey and celebrate this significant milestone with you, our wonderful network of members, and our local community.
