Celebrating 25 Years: WBA’s August 2024 Anniversary Month

This August, the Wanneroo Business Association (WBA) proudly celebrates 25 years of dedicated service to the local business community. As we reflect on our journey and look forward to an exciting future, we are thrilled to invite everyone in business to join us in commemorating this significant achievement, with all events except the Business Breakfast being free for non-members and members to attend.

Throughout the month of August, WBA will host a series of special events, open to anyone interested in communicating, collaborating, and connecting with the Wanneroo business community. Our goal is to bring together local businesses and community groups to foster a spirit of cooperation, celebration, and mutual support.

By opening up our anniversary month to the wider community, we aim to share our success and longevity, emphasising the relevance and importance of our local Business Association today. Community Coffee Catch Up
Kickstarting our anniversary celebrations, the Community Coffee Catch Up will provide a platform for community groups, non-profits, and charities to showcase their services to businesses while networking over coffee, sharing local initiatives, and exploring potential partnerships. Open to everyone in the local community, this networking event aims to create connections between businesses and community groups and encourage collaborations that benefit the broader community. 

25th Anniversary Silver Sundowner
Join us for an unforgettable evening at our 25th Anniversary Silver Sundowner, hosted at Peter Moyes Anglican Community School. With ocean views and full catering, this event promises to be a joyful celebration of WBA’s milestone birthday. Attendees will enjoy great company and gain insights into WBA’s vision for the future. It’s an occasion to celebrate our achievements, reconnect with old friends, and make new ones as we look ahead to the next 25 years.

Business Breakfast: From Milestones to New Horizons
Our signature quarterly Business Breakfast is themed From Milestones to New Horizons and includes a delicious breakfast at local favourite, Leapfrogs Cafe. Offering a unique opportunity to delve into WBA’s rich history and future plans, this event will feature a video presentation with interviews from past presidents, founding committee members, and long-standing board members. We look forward to taking a look at our humble beginnings, our significant milestones, and future aspirations as we celebrate our 25th year.
