Returning for its 19th year, Wanneroo Business Association was proud to host the City of Wanneroo Business Awards 2022 to celebrate and acknowledge business achievements from across the region.
This year, the event was produced by Suzette Collective who stepped in to give the night that extra sparkle due to recent staff changes at the WBA.
Over 150 business owners, sponsors, VIPS, and local stakeholders were treated to a three-course dinner by Olio’s Fine Food at The Block, Merriwa, as they awaited the much-anticipated results.
Nova 93.7’s popular Ross Wallman presented the awards for his 5th year running; and The Josh Blackwell Band got everyone in the mood. Fox Mortgage Services‘ Live Social Media Wall was once again a hit with attendees sharing selfies and messages of congratulations on the big screen, and thanks to Michael Goh Photography for capturing the night’s magical moments.
Each year the City of Wanneroo Mayor selects the winner of the 'Mayor's Visionary Business Person' to acknowledge an individual who has shown commitment to local business and community.
Adam Burling of Safe Central was announced as winner of the Mayor’s Business Leader award, presented by City of Wanneroo Mayor Linda Aitken JP, although Adam credits his success to his amazing team. Safe Central also picked up the 2022 Best Business: 15 & Over Employees Award, pictured below.
