Summarise the Wanneroo Business Association in 3 words

Committed to help.  Wanneroo Business Association’s willingness to help members by promoting their services and sharing information with new trends, is my favourite thing about the organisation.

Why did you join the WBA?

When I started my business, I took the time to analyse and understand the needs of our clients, and I found that people were looking for reliable and local businesses and that’s where I joined the Wanneroo Business Association.

Who would be your ideal client?

Our ideal client is a generation X female, however, due to its social impact we have a special interest in providing services to an audience born between 1946 and 1964 (Baby Boomers).

What is your biggest business challenge?

The biggest challenge we’ve had to face so far is the shortage of spare parts from many of the manufacturers we represent due to the impact caused in the supply chain by COVID-19.

What is your biggest business win?

Thanks to our immediate response to COVID19 to avoid direct contact with customers in the store, we managed to strengthen our different online business platforms maintaining an important flow of sales and most importantly maintaining our workforce.

Why are you still a member of the WBA?

Firstly, the support and advice offered by the Wanneroo Business Association is extraordinary.  The opportunities to network and expose the business to other WBA members at different events is also useful.  Our clients also feel more confident in taking our services and dealing with a local and reliable business.

Have you done business with any WBA members?

Yes, Trent Carter at Provident Lending and Business Solutions and also David Margetson from Print Integrity.

What is your favourite WBA event?

It would have to be the annual Business Awards, receiving the recognition from the Wanneroo Business Association for the hard work and dedication of my team throughout the year is extremely rewarding.  I also enjoy the Business Breakfasts, which offer the opportunity to listen and learn new trends from guest speakers in many areas of different industries.

Do you have a memorable moment with the Wanneroo Business Association?

The most memorable moment was the day I received my first business award. I was in shock and did not know what to say in front of so many people, owners and employees of prestigious companies who were also participating.
