To help, we have put together steps to add us to your Safe Senders List, depending on which email system you use.

Follow the correct steps below to stop emails going into junk and ensure you don’t miss out on any important updates in your local business community.

Gmail – Steps to Stop Emails Going Into Junk:

Open the email sent to you by the contact you wish to label as safe. Be sure to check both the inbox folder and junk or spam folder.

Click on More Options (three vertical dots) in the upper right-hand corner of the email

Click on Add Sender Name to Contacts List.

A notification saying ‘The sender has been added to your contacts list’ should appear at the bottom of the screen.

Yahoo Mail – Steps to Stop Emails Going Into Junk:

Open the email sent to you in Yahoo Mail by the contact you wish to label as safe. (Be sure to check both the inbox folder and junk or spam folder.)

Copy the email address

Click the Contacts icon located in the upper right-hand corner of your Yahoo! Mail Inbox Homepage. When you scroll over the first icon, it should say ‘Contacts’.

Click ‘Add a new contact’ located below the list of your contacts.

 Fill in the contact details and paste the email address you wish to add to your contact list.

 Click Save.

 

Outlook – Steps to Stop Emails Going Into Junk:

Open the email sent to in Outlook you by the contact you wish to label as safe.  (Be sure to check both the inbox folder and junk or spam folder.)

Click on More Options (three vertical dots) in the upper right-hand corner of the email

Click on Add to Safe Senders.

Confirm by clicking Ok.

Outlook.com

You can do two things:

  • Mark a received WBA campaign as Not Junk. Open the junk folder and right-click the message. Click Not Junk.
  • Add our ‘From’ email to the Safe Recipient list. Click the gear icon, and choose Options. Click the Safe and Blocked Senders link, click Safe Senders, and input the message’s From email address.

Apple mail (desktop)

You can do two things:

  • Teach Apple Mail’s filter to allow future messages. Open the junk folder and find the message. Move the message into the inbox.
  • Add your From email to the address book. Open the message, right-click the sender email address, and choose Add to Contacts.

Mail (Apple iOS mobile devices)

You can do two things:

  • Teach Mail’s filter to allow future messages. Open the junk folder and find the message. Move the message into the inbox.
  • Add your From email to the address book. Open the message, and tap the From email address. Then tap Create New Contact to input the address in the contacts list.

AOL Webmail

You can do two things:

  • Mark a received email from us as Not Spam. Open the spam folder and click the message. Click the OK, Not Spam button.
  • Add our ‘From’ email to your address book. Click Contacts in the navigation panel, and click the New Contact icon. Input the email address and click the Add Contact button.
