Join Wanneroo Business Association and the City of Wanneroo as we hit the road to network and explore businesses in our region. Rescheduled from earlier in the year, tickets will fly out the door for this popular event, which is back with a bigger bus and different stops en-route.
Tickets are $75 for WBA members, $100 for non-members, and include the full itinerary below:
12.15pm - Arrive at Wanneroo Golf Club (don't be late, the bus won't wait for you!)
Enjoy a networking lunch at Wanneroo Golf Club's alfresco bar overlooking the golf course, before we load up the bus to begin our tour. Lunch will include an assortment of sweet muffins and savoury wraps, homemade mini beef and mushroom pies, sausage rolls and soft drinks.
Stop 1 - Mary Lindsay Homestead, Yanchep
Hear from a City of Wanneroo Historian and learn the story behind the original timber-framed house which was built in 1926 by the Bunnings Brothers for the Honourable Mary Lindsay, daughter of Australia’s first Baronet.
Stop 2 - Avowest
A family owned and run business, Avowest have been growing avocados in Carabooda since the 1980's. Meet the owner to get an insight into this industry and hear their story.
Stop 3 - Yanchep Lavender
Meet the owner, taste local Lavender shortbread or ice-cream, see their new cafe under construction and learn more about this 25 acre property that was purchased in 2005 as a run-down lawn turf farm.
Stop 4 - Business Christmas Party
Return to Wanneroo Golf Club for festive drinks and nibbles at our Business Christmas Party, which is included in your ticket price, you do not need to register for this seperate event.
