Meet Dawn Robinson, Advertising Executive at PerthNow Local. As a member of the Wanneroo Business Association (WBA), read on on to get to know Dawn, as she shares more about PerthNow Local, and her experiences with the WBA.
Formerly Community News, the print titles went through an exciting rebrand in August 2021 to become PerthNow Local, offering localised print and digital advertising. Being part of Seven West Media, we also have the opportunity to recommend advertising in other products which include The West Australian, Saturday West, Sunday Times, Sunday Times Magazine and Regional newspaper publications for state-wide coverage.
PRINT – There are 10 editions of the free PerthNow Local newspapers which are published weekly, plus the Sound Telegraph and Mandurah Coastal Times in our south.
DIGITAL – Various digital advertising is available on the PerthNow Local websites, which can cover the whole Perth Metro area, or be refined to a zone to enable advertisers to target their chosen geographical area and target market.
SWM DISCOVER – We also work with clients locally offering tailor made digital packages which can included Google Ads, Social Marketing, Display Marketing & Remarketing and SEO packages to help grow brand awareness and drive traffic to businesses websites.
My role is to provide service and support to existing clients within my portfolio, to seek and secure new business opportunities and retain clients through assisting in growing brand awareness and lead generation. Our ideal client would be a small to medium sized local business looking to commit marketing budget for ongoing print and digital advertising.
PerthNow Wanneroo is the main newspaper publication I am responsible for, in respect of growth in both revenue and volume however I have the flexibility of working with businesses in any areas. Whilst I am responsible for driving revenue and growth as a sales person, I am also responsible for upholding the reputation of our brand, maintaining the work ethics and core values of the business.
The networking is a perfect platform for me to meet local business owners, build rapport and trust and grow awareness of PerthNow Local and our associated products. The WBA always has the interests of their members at heart and this shows in the organisation of events, the care that is put into each one, the communications and just how much everyone that attends feels comfortable in the environment and makes great connections and friends.
Every event is so well organised, at great venues and are enjoyable. They offer invaluable business support.
