Winners announced at City of Wanneroo Business Awards 2022

Wanneroo Business Association was proud to host the City of Wanneroo Business Awards 2022 on Friday evening, celebrating and acknowledging business achievements from across the region.
Fox Mortgage Services’ company mascot, Foxy, made an appearance again this year during pre-dinner drinks and kicked off a night full of sparkle and success. Over 150 business owners, sponsors, VIPS, and local stakeholders were treated to a three-course dinner by Olio’s Fine Food at The Block, Merriwa, as they awaited the much-anticipated results.
This year, the event was produced by Suzette Collective who stepped in to give the night that extra sparkle due to recent staff changes at the WBA. Betty Gartlett delivered Welcome to Country, calling upon the good spirits for an evening of success; Nova 93.7’s popular Ross Wallman presented the awards for his 5th year running; and The Josh Blackwell Band got everyone in the mood. Fox Mortgage Services‘ Live Social Media Wall was once again a hit with attendees sharing selfies and messages of congratulations on the big screen, and thanks to Michael Goh Photography for capturing the night’s magical moments.
Sponsorship was sourced from several businesses including City of Wanneroo, Ertech Holdings, Roads2000, DevelopmentWA, PerthNow, Business News, Insight Advisory Group, Training Alliance Group, Fox Mortgage Services, Resolute Security Services, and more.
Proudly supported by the City of Wanneroo as naming right sponsor, the Business Awards 2022 were considered by an independent panel of judges who shortlisted 104 entries from 42 unique companies and were blown away by the calibre of businesses contending in each category. Competition was high with winners and runners-up announced in 12 categories with Adarsh Australia crowned Ertech Holdings 2022 Business of the Year and winner of the Innovator of the Year award.
Adam Burling of Safe Central was announced as winner of the Mayor’s Business Leader award, presented by City of Wanneroo Mayor Linda Aitken JP, although Adam credits his success to his amazing team. Safe Central also picked up the 2022 Best Business: 15 & Over Employees Award, pictured below.
