Wanneroo Business Expo returned with a bang following a break in 2020 due to COVID-19, with local businesses flocking to The Pavilion, at The Marina Mindarie, bringing a ‘buzz’ to the event on Thurs 11 March. More than 550 people pre-registered for the free business expo held by Wanneroo Business Association, in partnership with the City of Wanneroo.
43 exhibitors showcased their products and services from a cross section of industries including professional services and finance, hospitality, retail and construction. Local Federal Members, City of Wanneroo CEO, Mayor and Councillors were in attendance at the event, as well as local businesses, University students and retirees.
Lauren Bell, Wanneroo Business Association General Manager, said that it was refreshing to be able to bring such a large event to the local area, and for businesses to be able to connect on a larger scale following a lull in events in 2020 due to COVID-19. “There is a need for businesses to reconnect and promote their services with eachother on a B2B basis, but the business expo also allows members of the public to find out more about local businesses that they can support.”
A survey of exhibitors following the event showed that more than 92% of exhibitors would consider exhibiting at Wanneroo Business Expo next year, with 81% of people rating the event 5 out of 5 stars.
Chaleen Botha – “Probably one of the best business expo’s you will find in Perth.”
Veronica Southern at Integrity Impressions said she was “extremely impressed with the organisation and attendance, I thoroughly enjoyed exhibiting and was blown away by it all!”
Karen Dauncy at The SEO School – “Thanks for a great expo!”
Sarah Thompson at Online Social Butterfly – ‘The expo was an excellent event and a great turnout. Well done as I know so much hard work goes on behind the scenes!”
