Staffing and Recruitment Update

Dear Members,

This announcement is to notify you that our amazing General Manager, Lauren Bell, is about to embark on the next exciting chapter in her career and will be leaving the Wanneroo Business Association (WBA) in October.  As many of you will know, when Lauren joined the WBA in 2014 it was a completely different organisation.  The fantastic work Lauren, Kellie and our volunteer Board Members, past and present, have done has transformed the WBA in to the premier association it is today.  Unfortunately, our wonderful Member Services Officer, Kellie Foskett is also moving on.  Providing our members with this update is difficult, as it is so hard to put into words how grateful the WBA Committee of Management are for everything Lauren and Kellie have achieved over the years and how passionately they have cared for the WBA and its members during that time.  We have no doubt that they will continue to keep a close eye on the WBA into the future!  Lauren and Kellie, thank you so much, we can’t wait to hear about your future endeavours and the impact you will no doubt have on your future employers.

I am pleased to share a message to WBA members from Lauren:

“It has been an absolute pleasure to build the WBA community and watch so many of your businesses thrive over the last 8 years, but the time has come for me to pursue a new opportunity.  The WBA has been a huge part of my life over the last 8 years and although it’s bitter-sweet for me personally, I have learnt so much, and I am taking many memories and friendships away with me.  The WBA has plenty of exciting projects planned for the next few months and you are in safe hands with the current Board of Management to lead the way.  Thank you to everyone I have worked with over the years, especially Kellie and all our members, I’m looking forward to seeing what the WBA can achieve during its next chapter!”

The WBA Committee of Management has hit the ground running and has already started a recruitment process to find a new dynamic duo to take the reigns over and continue to take the WBA to greater heights.  With the support of our members, we know we can achieve anything.  Our members have always been ready and willing to shout about the great work the WBA does to everyone who will listen and now we would like you to help us spread the word to your networks, friends and family, and tell them that the WBA is recruiting.  Below you will find the link to the job advertisements so please share, share, share!
