City of Wanneroo Business Grants

The City of Wanneroo Business Grants aim to support the growth and development of local businesses, encourage innovation, drive job creation and grow the local economy.

Grants will be up to 50% of eligible project costs with a maximum grant amount of $5,000 (excluding GST) to support activities, projects and initiatives that meet at least one of the following outcomes:

1. Builds business resilience and capability;
2. Promotes the growth and expansion of local businesses;
3. Demonstrates innovation;
4. Increases business investment in the City;
5. Creates employment opportunities within the City;
6. Supports professional skills and training development opportunities;
7. Provides a platform for research, trade, and/or investment opportunities; or
8. Positions Wanneroo as a place to live, work, visit or invest.

To be eligible, applicants will need to be a registered business/incorporated association with a current ABN and be based within the City of Wanneroo. Applicants will also need to hold the rights to the intellectual property for their product and/or service, if applicable.

NOTE: Grants will be paid 50% on award, and 50% upon completion of the project.

Applications are currently open and will close on 17 December 2021. A notification of outcome will be sent to applicants by 14 January 2021.
