The 2026 WBA Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday, 23 July 2026 at Turquoise Café, Wanneroo, with an online attendance option also available.

All members are encouraged to attend this FREE event for WBA members with nibbles provided.
Please note: Guests are more than welcome to attend; however, only financial members of WBA will be assigned a vote. One vote per organisation.
Committee of Management Nominations
A total of nine nominations (full list below) have been received for six available positions, meaning for the 11th consecutive year, a ballot vote to elect the new Committee of Management will be held at the AGM on the 23rd of July.
If you are unable to attend the AGM in-person, please join us online or download our WBA Proxy Form to submit your vote.
The following Committee of Management members are continuing their term and are not up for re-election this year:
- Melissa Ahlquist, Little Biz - Committee of Management Member
- Bukamu Dube, Job Skills Training Academy - Committee of Management Member
- Shaun Lawson, Your Business Loan Guy - Committee of Management Member
In accordance with the WBA Rules, Office Bearer positions are elected by the Committee of Management following the AGM and, where possible, are to be elected from the continuing or newly elected Committee of Management members.
The positions of President, Vice President and Treasurer have expressions of interest from Shaun Lawson, Steven Windsor (subject to re-election) and Erika Williams (subject to re-election), respectively. The position of Secretary remains open.
We would like to thank all current Committee of Management members for their dedication, contributions and ongoing support of the WBA, particularly President Andy Kahle, AndyK Designs, Vice President Niamh Campbell, First Class Accounts - Wanneroo, and Board Member Laura Kennedy, Aqua Kre-artz who will be stepping down this year after their dedicated service to the Association.

An online Meet the Board Nominees pitching & Q&A session is scheduled for 10am on Tuesday, 7 July 2026 for WBA members to learn more about the people nominating for the Committee of Management 2026-2028 before casting votes at the AGM. The session will be recorded and available via the WBA members Forum.
