The Wanneroo Business Association (WBA) was delighted to host an unforgettable evening at the 2024 City of Wanneroo Business Awards on Friday 1 November at Peter Moyes Anglican Community School.
It was a starry night of celebration, honouring the standout achievements of our local business community. With over 200 guests in attendance, the night kicked off with the West Coast BMW pre-dinner drinks and canapés on the green, where guests enjoyed stunning ocean views, Cosmic mocktails, and the chance to connect with fellow business leaders. We began the event with a our MC debut, Christina Morrissy, who brought professionalism, warmth, and energy to the evening. As awards were presented, guests enjoyed a delicious three-course dinner, created and served by the school’s fantastic hospitality team. This was paired with live acoustic guitar and vocals by the talented Henry Clarke. Later, saxophonist Simone Monaco and DJ Emily took to the stage as a unique and lively duo act, filling the room with vibes that brought everyone to the dance floor. Throughout the night, the live media wall captured the excitement as guests shared selfies, messages of congratulations, and the joys of the evening. Winners and Runners Up This year’s winners and runners-up were chosen by an independent panel of judges from a pool of 115 entries. The City of Wanneroo Business Leader of the Year was awarded to Steve Greenwood from Wesbeam and recognises an individual whose vision and leadership inspires others. Choice Home Help picked up the Roads2000 2024 Customer Service Excellence award, and The Glasses Lady was announced as 2024 Best Business Owner/Operator for the second year running.
Special mention must go to our Ertech 2024 Business of the Year, QPC Group!
